Best Together 200 Miles Apart

Lame Horse Instruments are produced by the father and son team of Chris and Jeremy Jenkins in their respective workshops in Mansfield and Austin, Texas.

It all started in a garage in Texas in 1995.

Chris works in Mansfield, Jeremy works in Austin. This arrangement seems to work well, for although they are separatedby 200 miles of Texas, they collaborate daily, and ship parts and pieces back and forth between the workshops for each to work. Jeremy enjoys playing the Austin music scene with various bands. When Jeremy is not building instruments, he is spending time with his daughter, Sidney.

Chris can be found most days in the workshop building instruments. He also enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife of 43 years, Robin. Currently he is also spending a lot of time training his new dog, Blondie.
